Executive Team
Paul Martin
Chief Executive Officer
Paul has served as CEO of Ocean Blue Software since 2013, leading the company's transition from a traditional licensing business to a specialised services and shared-source technology leader. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor and digital television industries, including senior roles at Philips and NXP.
Andy Carr
Chief Product Officer
Andy leads product strategy and development at Ocean Blue Software, including the OROO operating system for the MENA region. He previously founded and led a set-top box company, held engineering leadership roles at Sony, and served as Director of Freesat UK.
Joshua House
Vice President, Customer Engineering
Joshua leads customer engineering, delivering major commercial programs. He has been with Ocean Blue Software for over 15 years and led the delivery of strategic initiatives, including our Android programs and ORB, the industry's first open-source HbbTV browser.
Senior Team
Stamatis Kapetanios
Stamatis leads DVB-I, ATSC 3.0 and AI initiatives at Ocean Blue Software and manages the Athens engineering office. He has over 20 years of experience in TV and streaming technologies, and previously founded a company specialising in embedded software for set-top-boxes.
Dr Michalis Pantazoglou
Michalis leads a specialist team responsible for European operator certification programs. Before joining Ocean Blue Software, he was a lecturer in computer science at the University of Athens.
Chris Aldworth
Chris leads our operator-branded TV initiatives. He has more than 20 years of experience at Ocean Blue Software and has led certification programs for leading television manufacturers.
Dr David Fee
David leads our HbbTV and browser initiatives. Prior to joining Ocean Blue Software, he specialised in ATSC 3.0 broadcast technologies. He holds a PhD in signals and audio processing.
Adam Sturtridge
Adam leads our CI+ and MHEG initiatives. He represents Ocean Blue Software in industry bodies including the HbbTV Test Group and contributes to the official HbbTV Test Suite.
Steve Ford
Steve leads the RDK and DVB initiatives of Ocean Blue Software. He has more than 20 years of experience in smart TV technologies and broadcast standards.
Harriet Clarke
Harriet leads a specialist team responsible for UK operator certification programs. Before joining Ocean Blue Software, she worked at technology startups and at DTVKit.
Asimakis Mandrozos
Asimakis is a senior engineer at Ocean Blue Software, bringing broad technical expertise across broadcast and platform technologies. He supports customers on complex engineering challenges, with deep experience in streaming and media player technologies.
Fred Zhu
Fred leads Ocean Blue Software's HbbTV tooling development. Prior to joining us, he spent more than 15 years specialising in conditional access systems for television.
