Product Testing and Compliance

There are many industry standards that must be met in order to bring consumer electronics products to market successfully. Ocean Blue Software has invested in equipment that allows us to test the compliance of a product to a range of industry standards, most notably DVB and DTG specifications.
Product compliance to the DTG specification allows the manufacturer to use the Freeview and Digital Tick logos on product thus maximising sales potential.

Test Facilities and Labs

Ocean Blue Software has purchased the DTG MHEG test suites and offers this test functionality to our clients for their digital TV receiver devices.
Our test methodologies and conformance test labs allow comprehensive testing of the software embedded in digital receivers.

Clients have full access 24 hours a day to the Ocean Blue test labs, in the UK and Hong Kong, should they require.

Clients can repeat test procedures, use live or recorded streams and correct their software as many times as required.

Access to Engineering support is also provided during clients' product testing.

This unique service allows customers to shorten their testing and certification process and provides a strong market advantage.

Product Accreditation

Ocean Blue operates and provides a portfolio of in-house DTG and other association's test suites for clients including the following:
MHEG-5, DSM-CC
DVB-SI
Freeview + PVR
CI+

We also assist clients to achieve accreditation and gain all relevant industry standard product logos including the Digital Tick.

Porting and Integration of Software

As a specialist digital TV software developer, Ocean Blue offers services to assist in the integration and support of its software components into clients' consumer electronic digital TV products.

Software Support and Upgrades

All Ocean Blue software products are sold with the option to take out an annual maintenance contract with us. This service provides our clients with access to technical support for any issues or queries, and also entitles clients to receive software updates for their product.
