Sales & Marketing Support

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, enthusiastic Sales & Marketing person. We are looking for a confident, motivated person who will assist the Managing Director in developing new business and generating additional business with clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Role:
E-MARKETING
  • Generate business via e-mail lead generation campaigns complete with records and follow ups. Will also include some telemarketing.
  • Within each market sector, identify and contact key players.
INTERNET RESEARCH
  • Generate business via internet marketing research.
  • Sourcing names and contacts through trade journals, exhibitor lists and electronic publications contact and follow up people who may be interested in OBS products.
  • Log OBS details onto websites for software products.
  • Find & generate web links with relevant industry partner sites.
  • Create profile of OBS on developer websites eg : AMD, Intel, HP.
EXHIBITIONS
  • Source and attend exhibitions on behalf of OBS.
MEETINGS
  • Attend industry meetings to learn, promote and network with attendees.
GENERAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Assist with development of OBS strategic business plans; contribute to newsletter, input to marketing mix.

Talented Software Engineers Required

We are looking for highly motivated and talented software engineers who have a passion for technology. The candidate should be a team player, who can also act independently, will be a contributor of ideas, product developments, processes and add value to the team and company.

We are looking to employ a candidate with a degree level education and preferably:

  • An electrical or Electronic Engineering or Computer Sciences degree or HNC/D
  • An excellent C programmer
  • Experience in embedded system software development
  • Set top box software experience
  • Preferable knowledge & expertise of Digital video Broadcasting (DVB) and MHEG-5 standards
